Throughout the past couple months, through rain and shine, we have shared our services with speakers from across Leicestershire. We have been blessed to hear from many ministers from different backgrounds, ages, and life stages.
We have been amazed by the faithfulness of God in this season and are thankful to be supported by so many churches. We get to see first-hand how the body of Christ and the word of God transcends buildings, city limits, and even denominations.
Baptisms at BRBC!
On June 4th we witnessed Agnes’s baptism and then on July 16th we saw Elvis be baptised.
Praise God, these two young people have decided to publicly declare their faith in Jesus and follow him. As Elvis quoted on the day of his baptism:
“I have decided to follow Jesus, no turning back. No turning back. The cross before me, the world behind me. No turning back.”
Colossians 2:12
“Having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.”
New Members
We welcomed several new members in June/July!
We are so excited that Agnes, Eduardo, Elvis, Krzysztof, and Monika (along with their children) are officially part of the Buckminster family. We look forward to walking with them as they grow in their faith and serve God with their lives.
Polish Evangelism Event
On July 15th we saw one of our members, Krzysztof (along with his family) lead an evangelism event in the car park of the polish supermarket down the road from BRBC.
While Krzysztof and a group of evangelists spoke with people, Monika prepared food for them- ready to host everyone in the church Hall that evening. Many people came to the event and heard the gospel!
Praise God that his word is being preached in the streets of Leicester! We hope and pray more people in our area will come to faith in Jesus and join us on Sundays.
Mark 16:15
“He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.””
Looking Forward!
We are seeing God move in many ways within our community and we have several things to look forward to!

Prayers and praises:
Prayer requests:
Pray that God would continue to raise up people to volunteer and lead at BRBC - especially on the worship team and childrens/youth ministry teams.
Pray that we would be a community that brings love, light, and hope to our city in Jesus name. Pray that God would open doors for us to serve in our area.
Pray for our members at BRBC- that God would bind us up in love and strengthen each of us in the plans he has for us.
Pray for Claudio and Andrea- that God would bring peace and make a way clear for them as they continue to trust Him.
Praises:
Baptisms: Agnes and Elvis declaring their faith in Jesus and their desire to follow him publicly.
Evangelism events: that Krzysztof has been bold in sharing the gospel and that he is encouraging us all to do the same! Praise God that through this event, people have heard the gospel.
God’s continued faithfulness to us as a church and as individuals. Praise God that he will never leave or forsake us.
For everyone who volunteers time, gives money, or prays for the church. Praise God that he uses all kinds of people to be his hands and feet on Earth.
A Closing Thought:
1 Thessalonians 2:11-12
“For you know that we dealt with each of you as a father deals with his own children, encouraging, comforting and urging you to live lives worthy of God, who calls you into his kingdom and glory.”
Let us urge one another to live Godly lives this month- encouraging and comforting each other just as our Heavenly Father encourages and comforts us.
May the Lord bless you and keep you always.
